Following her gorgeously soul-stirring album Paper Castles, and her more recent live album Live at Funkhaus, the Berlin-based Folk-Soul Queen Alice Pheobe Lou has delivered once again with her new single 'Touch'. The new single is jovial in mood, with candied xylophones and carelessly cheerful synths. But the sweet meets it's fair share of bitter with lyrics that touch upon longing for love: "I've been lonely since I woke up,  I wanna touch no it's never enough, I heard his voice and had a cry made me remember all the reasons why, I wanna give you all I've got until I'm not even a thought, you've been hanging out in my head, I've been imagining you in my bed but my imagination can only go, only go so far." As always, Alice Pheobe Lou offers up an intimate piece of her soul as another beautiful song lands on our laps. -Ellie Rose-Davies
